Energy Efficiency Programs

Atlantic Technical Center
Building Analyst (Advanced) 100 hours (schedule TBA)

Learn the house-as-a-system approach to improve the performance of existing homes. Training consists of an overview of building science fundamentals, practical application of “blower door” untilization, combustion safety and other diagnostic equipment. The BPI (Building Performance Institute) written test is given at the end of the training. Students will also be eligible to take the BPI Field exam. Pre-requisites: HSD/GED and documentation of professional /occupational licensing in the State of FL in a profession/business regulated by the Dept. of Business & Professional Regulation Construction Industry Licensing Board.
